So I have a parts bandit with a bad tank and a few parts handed over to my riding bandit. but a good motor. Needs all the gaskets replaced and had a look over but nothing should be too bad about it. Never missed a gear anyway. Anyway lets just move around why i had it sitting in the first place but skip to now and it serves well as a parts bike. Well now im getting the 7/12 itch. that motor wants to be put into a gsxr 750. I can hear it calling from the garage.
but should it be a slabby or a slingy? and here's the couple other questions that I have for right now.
can bandit wheels go onto a slabby 750?
can anybody point me towards any bst38ss jetting info about the carb swap? I'd probably just run k&ns again for convenience.

Which one would you pick?
To that motorcycle forum guy who is always like "I wouldn't pay more than 2 for either of those" dude that doesn't happen around here anymore. you get a clapped out banged out painted piece of shit for under 2. or a nice kat 6.
The slingshot I can see nobody wanting yet cuz it's pittsburgh and the thing is pink with a pink screen. but the slabby will probably be gone within a week even at the premium.
which is ok. It's ok if they both slip by. there will be more. but maybe not for a month or 2. if I'm watching like a hawk...
So sort of which one is more worth the effort. I'm sure the slingshot has the better chassis and with pure effectiveness in mind should be the obvious choice. And has the carbs I can use and proper wheels already. But the slabby is well you know. just badass anyway. its the original. and it's red and black. And it could be worth more when it's done.
Just for fun. Any input is welcome and appreciated.
