Nice one Del,
I spoke Marc at Marksman about getting these kits in from All-Balls in the states a couple of months ago.
I put the link up on the FB page, never thought to put it on here too, doh.
Got one sat waiting for my bandit project

Nice one Del, I spoke Marc at Marksman about getting these kits in from All-Balls in the states a couple of months ago. I put the link up on the FB page, never thought to put it on here too, doh. Got one sat waiting for my bandit project Chris Thanks for that,it's come in handy and he is very cheap. When i originally(back in 2007) looked for a Taper to do the conversion, the only one i could find was a special order one from the Czech Republic. It would have cost in the region of £60-70 So i ended up using a radial bearing, which did the job(still on the bike now),but i would have prefered a taper roller.

No,twf did a conversion for the sv650's.The sv's use the same top bearing as the slabbies, slingshots, teapots, gsx's,etc, etc. But the TWF bearing is overpriced compared to the marksman bearing(which is exactly the same) The twf bearing is about £30($45) + shipping from the US.The markman bearing is £14.36($22.05)+vat. www.twfracing.com/PartsPages/steeringheadbearing.html
