Has anybody changed over to fuel injection on the water cooled engines ?
I'm starting from a bare engine in a racing trike so I have a clean sheet of paper.
I notice the cam cover has a blank where a cam position sensor could be used.
Been able to fit a PC3/5 is a must (for the custom mapping/quickshifter/Acc Pump feature), so even consider any later EFI looms/cdi/TB's etc
Crank pickups may be an area that needs a little work but I have the tools to overcome that.

I soon plan to install the system from the GSXR 1000 K8 on my oil-cooled 1100.
1100W can also be set.
Such projects are already exist and work.
Advantage of this system affordable, high-quality components. ECU can flash free program. You can control the turbo system.
Quite a lot of opportunities in the program.

Perhaps, simply, you can install the system from the GSF 1250. But he has little throttle-36 mm.

Bimota SB7 has a fuel injected GSX-R 750 engine, might be worth to have a look at one for sensor position etc

On the valve cover GSXR 750 94-95 & 1100 95-98 (Mag) already has a place for that sensor. Only need to drill a hole and make a thread.

Lots of ideas, thankyou, would prefer to stay with a stock ecu rather than megasquirt etc to it "simpler"
The 1250 bandit is worth looking into, not too concerned about the TB's, I'm used to retro fitting bigger TB's and TPS's on my TL1000 engines

then it is better to pay attention to the system from the GSXR 1000 07-08, 600\750 08-10 and busa\king 08-13 For the reason that these ECU the most of opportunities an adjustment and there are free bin files for them
