The 750 jap imports have a sender gauge on the tank as standard. I'll dig out some pics of mine with an 11 & 750 tank on. Personally I think the 11 tank just doesn't flow (as in lines) as good on a 750 due to the slight shape difference.
One mans beauty is another mans beast tho & all the that.

The tank shape has nothing to do with 750 or 1100. 85 and 86 (in most countries, U.K. and Australia excluded) had the smaller/flatter tank. The larger tank was used in 87 (and 88 1100s).

The 750g/h usa tanks also came with the diaphragm taps like the 1100's,they used 31 and 34mm cv's. Also the 19ltr and 21ltr were on all the 750/1100's,year and cc didn't matter. My old 750f tank, taken out to 30ltr from 21ltr Jays 11g with 19ltr tank(standard) Sonny's 1100g with 21ltr tank My old 750h with 21ltr tank(only the panels are 1100) My old scabby slabby jap import 750g 21ltr 1100J with 19ltr

Del; What do you mean by "Also the 19ltr and 21ltr were on all the 750/1100's,year and cc didn't matter"?
The tall/large 21-litre tank (like on the original black/red 1100J on your pics) was not introduced until 86 (on E-02 and E-24 market bikes, i.e. U.K. and Australia) and in 87 in other countries. I am not sure when the 21-litre tank was introduced in the U.S.

Del, I hope you don't me saying it but you've got that mixed up. The tanks on your pics (in your latest post) are the small 19-litre tank. The 21-litre tank can be seen on your earlier pic of the red/black 1100J. The larger tank wasn't introduced until 1986 in a few countries (U.K. and Australia and possibly some other) and in 87 in the rest of the world.
