Sorry to hijack but do you have the part number for the swingarm bearings please? Also, I have a Koni monoshock (2615?), can i lay it horizontal like you have? Thanks.

My bike was fitted with 4pcs of ordinary 17x35x10 bearings. I would like to use conical or angular bearings but was unable to find any that fit, until I do I've installed four new bearings.
I don't know the Koni per se but would deffo try it on. I reckon modern pressurised shocks are pretty safe to mount like this.

Fitting stuff takes more time than planned, as always... here I'm improving the brackets for the coils. Polished bits are more fun to mount. Granted, there are four of them, but, from a purely technical standpoint my bike is on wheels again

and now you can push it around the workshop making "brum brum" noises.
A milestone in every bike build.

Just don't get caught doing it. Like my mate did. Sat on the bike, on a work bench, sorting out footrest/bar position and got a bit carried away day dreaming. Looked up to see the cute girl from down the road (who he quite fancied and who quite fancied him) standing at the door. She just smiled and said "I'll come back later". BTW. Nice bike you've got there.

Now what's this? A brothel theme room or maybe some unholy shrine of sorts ?? No, the painter claims it's just the last parts of my bike drying, he's such a bore...

You should ! Do some work I mean, and while you're at it, put some pics on here I'm presently making slow progress. New fork oil and some detailing, building a new box for the Electronic gizmos and just about to install the top end...

Been awhile now, vacation, family and an incredible summer here in sweden has kept me occupied So, to keep you up to date, here's the story to date: Upon mounting the head a stud came loose and I had to fit a larger thread and adapter. Here I'm tapping the enlarged hole. While I was at it I decided on a new paint for the valve cover. Alas the painter had some problems with his gear painting the bodywork, resulting in some blemishes that I had to sand and polish. On the other hand he was so upset he didn't want to charge me for his work, instead I will get another paint job when he's all set again All dressed up and ready for the first ride. And finally a picture from a ride last week. Designing vinyls/stripes are still a work in progress and for this winter I'd also like to rebuild my electrical system a tad... Cheers !
