I really didn't want to spend a fortune, but you know how it is !!!!. Saw these for sale by Mr Grumpy, brand new 1085 kit with bored barrels, the 'but it now' button pushed itself. Those added to the carbs and cams and a head I was about the port, what do you think the power out put would be ?

The porting took for ever. Not really done a 4 stroke before, so took my time and kept checking it was all the same.

Took the outside out to 33mm and followed down the rest of the port as far as the valve.

Along with a new cam chain, it was time to put it all together.

It went as good as it looked. Did the first few miles with crappy oil in it to bed it in, changed it at 100 miles, then put something desent in it and ran it for another 600 miles. This is what a good summers day looks like.
