Yeah im currently sanding back some bodywork. Almost ready for the big day for rego. I firrd it up the other day and didnt run that well so will be cleaning carbs again .

The one on the right is now very smooth and ready for paint. Just got to find an hour or two to do the left one.

2k . I have a spray painter around the corner from me and if i do the apprentice work he does the paint. Its getting painted in original 89 scheme .

do you realise that the engine is a '90/'91 750? At least the clutch cover is.
How many cc (should be on the left side of the barrels)?

sweet bike,the 89 750 is 748cc short stroke with the dot head.

Its an oz model so it may be that we recieved this earlier as i know the u.s was behind in model releases.

looks like a dothead engine, which means 748cc/shortstroke. But the clutch cover is from a newer Slingshot (with the nipple in the middle). Could be replaced at some point, nothing serious.
Anyway the rebuild is coming along nicely.

Yeah its definitely dot head. Clutch cover looks untampered but it was an ex trackbike and may have been replaced at some point in its lifetime. Its really enjoyable rebuilding it as i can see its progress is getting along nicely now. Just got to hunt up a single seat cowl and replace cam cover gasket, sort carbs and then paint it. Heres another bike i finished last year and currently riding . I know its not a suzuki but i really got a kick out of restoring it.
