How'd you do that so neatly?, even the rivets aren't covered in any overspray! smileywtf Just asking cos I've got to redo my front disks on the GSX. Nice build BTW, great to see an old GS get a new lease of life like this

one of the small things that i noticed when trying the tank on for paint was that the OEM fuel tap would not sit correctly with the pods in place  so i made a new fuel out put plate. i will now have to fit an in line filter and a dry brake connector, but that is no big deal going to pick up the bike from the painters tomorrow, so will get some propper picks taken with her outside and not covered in paint dust. well fuckin pleased with the amount my mate is charging for blast and prep (x2 tanks ) letter stencils for tank and side pannels and full paint = £400 smileyt2801 smileyt2801 smileyt2801 fuckin bargain

all being well i will have all the small jobs that still require sorting done by Thursday at the latest! I am having a night off today, but will be going to town on the work wednesday. just need 1) fit indicators 2) finish fitting rear inner fender 3) fit retro mirrors 4) fit fuel outlet plate 5) fit tail piece 6) re fit dash after cleaning up mounting plate yesterday i had to do a little bit of work on the h/lamp mounting brackets, found out from Arnie that they were going to hit the tank when on full lock!! so i removed them, swaped them over onto opposit sides, then slid them down the fork leg to allow clearance. only problem i came accross was that the rear of the h/lamp shell was contacting the ignition barrel. so re shaped the shell slightly (toffee hammers are a fine adjustment instrument honest) now sits great and no clearance problems between tank and brackets. bi product of reversing the h/lamp brackets is they now align better with the dash mounts fitted the tank flap and lock to complete the tank. will get all the small jobs done and get a vid of me doing a ride by and do a final build post by the end of the week, with lots of pics
