fuel cell started today: still need to sort the front mounts enough clearnece for the head cooler take offs still need to find a slabby tank to fit on top, they seem to be quite rare injectors and fuel rail are making there way here from america.

bandit 12 alternator - 3.4kg's shiny bit of ali, 190 grams fuel tank mounts finished and breather thingy welded on stock gamma top yoke is a bit wank, lets have a shiny one

yoke done: still need to cross drill it for the clamp bolts but i'll do that another day. kinda fancy having a go at machining some clip ons seeing as i cant find any decent ones that are for 36mm forks.

I was even thinking to install 45 amp alternator from a fresh oil cooled engines.

You think it´s good to remove the alternator with a fuel injectet bike and fuel pump with a lot of ampere? Not a huge issue on a drag bike if you charge between runs or have spare batteries ...

I thought to change the transmisson, but did not find a good solution. 750 doesn´t fit.
Alex: Alternator from fresh oilcooled engine? Are there different ones?

i'll probably make my own lithium battery pack from a load of cells gaffa taped together. theres a how-to on one of the r1 forums i think. stainless bends: clip ons: i robbed the ones off my gsxr 400 and turned some sleeves to take them from 41 to 36mm. it isnt friendly on your wrists but you can get nice and tucked in.

The transmission can be changed. Weight not compare yet. By the way w / c, 750 94-95 drive generator and starter lighter than older years. I laid out where that comparison.
