How stiff are those crf steering dampers? Are the stiffer in compression than extension? Bit of an unknown quantity to be fair, I have purchased a shim kit to upgrade the "action" as its meant for motoX, i'm gonna just see how it goes ........ was the only solution I could come up with when I came to a damper that didn't involve making holes on the bodywork etc.

Just curious because I've got a little MTB damper unit kicking around at home, and can't come at the price wreckers want for the crf unit... But getting an idea of Howe hard it is to compress/extend would give me a bit of a starting point...

Shock horror almost finished the frame Hell Yeah !!
Few more bits to do & I'll post some pics up over the weekend.
When Porks collects I shall mount the oil cooler, want to eye it up with the front plastics which I haven't got so worth waiting for that.
Got a mod to do on the petrol tank with a different filler cap but hey end of an era with the frame "almost" being done.... (you can't see but I'm wearing a big shit eating grin..)

A few pics, El Porks wanted me to add a couple of bracing tubes to his subframe, I don't think they are actually needed but hey... they are the tubes either side above the height of the cross member that has the top shock mount, slightly coloured up from welding. Rear view.
Front view.
Put a lot of work into these, from the side you can't see them...
Positioned right at the edge of the side panel, these are gash panels hence the rough trim but when Porks does his proper ones it will all blend together really nicely.

Hey thanks, sadly it's all wasted on Porks... too good for the likes of him Bloody on form today he is, just finished mounting the rearsets & pulled off a blinder by getting the top of the heel guard to line with the lower subframe tube, fires off a pic to him &.... He asks if that happened by accident, bloody ACCIDENT I ask you !! He's not right that one, wrong it is, not normal, disturbed.... ahhhhhh
