I'm looking to convert my Bandit to a coil spring clutch. I've been looking for parts and have realized that they ask silly Money for OEM Suzuki, and that the breakers here in Belgium aren't that much cheaper. I found a Clutch basket in a breakers in France. I still need the other parts though, as the French breaker doesn't have them. Debben.co.uk used to supply an APE coil spring conversion kit (APE SPPK1100). Unfortunatly their Website isn't online anymore.
Does anyone know where I can get a APE spring conversion kit in europe?? Or a breaker in the UK that Posts abroad??

Which coil spring conversion are you wanting to do? The 4 coil spring clutch setup from the late 80's-early 90's Katana 1100? Or the 5 coil spring setup from the 00-05 GSXR750's? Why are you wanting to convert?

Here is a pic of 1 04 GSXR750 5 coil spring clutch setup in a B-12. Works great for street and even at the dragstrip.

Rzkatman,
It's a very easy and cheap swap. I did this to my 01 B-12 back in 05 and have done it to 3 other B-12's(1st and 2nd Gen) since. Told some on another board and know of at least 5 others that have run it all with good results. U retain your B-12 outer basket. What u need: 00-05 GSXR750 INNER basket 00-05 GSXR750 pressure plate 00-05 GSXR750 coil springs/bolts/washers 00-05 GSXR750 fibers/steels
Simply remove the Stk B-12 pressure plate/bevel springs/inner basket/fibers/steels and bolt the GSXR parts in its place. Some of the GSXR750 fibers and steels are the exact part number as the B-12 fibers/steels...but, not all. The B-12 has some steels that are thicker than others and there are some fibers that are a little different. You will want to run the entire clutch pack for the GSXR750 since the stack height is a little thicker on it than the B-12(IIRC there is an extra fiber and/or steel). Lever pressure will be very light and the stk GSXR750 springs will hold a stk B-12 motor as well as one with mild bolt-ons(pipe/jetting/gearing and GSXR750 cams). If you want it to hold more power, pickup a set of Barnett springs for the GSXR750 and they will hold 150+hp. Lever pressure With the 5 Barnett springs will be more than a Stk B-12 clutch with one Barnett spring but a good deal less than the Stk B-12 clutch with two Barnett springs. Also, the inner basket/pressure plate/springs/fibers/steels are the same in some of the GSXR600's as well. Will have to ck to see what specific years as I don't remember off the top of my head. Best thing about this is that the GSXR clutch parts are usually easy to find Nd most of the time the fibers and steels are in very good shape. I usually find the whole clutch basket with everything needed(plus the outer which is not useable) for around $50 and some times less. Sometimes a little more. Much cheaper than a new set of fibers and steels.

Can also use 04-05 GSXR600 inner basket/pressure plate/springs/fibers/steels. I think u can also use earlier GSXR600 parts too but I'd have to ck.

BTW, the GSXR750 5 coil spring conversion works well at the dragstrip. I did this to my first 01 Bandit 1200S. The bike had a stk motor with GSXR1100 intake AND exhaust cams(just dropped in, no degreeing), jet kit/pods, full exhaust, tubes pulled and strapped up front and lowered/Busa shock out back. Gearing was 14/45. With a little seat time I ended up knocking down a 1.60 60'(best) with a string of 1.61-1.65 60's. This was at stk wheelbase and I weighed 190-195 lbs suited. Stk seat(not cut down). IMO, it provided a much better feel than the stk clutch setup. From my experience, the stk Bandit bevel spring setup has a more "on-off" feel, where the 5 coil spring setup is more linear.

If you are talking about the pusher that goes in the end of the transmission and contacts the pressure plate, you can use either one. They are both the same part number. If you are talking about the rod that goes through the transmission, use the Bandit one. I believe those are different. Clear as mud?

Thanks again. Yep clear as!! Was asking about the rod not the pusher. It's good to find out what std Suzuki parts will fit into this engine to make it better. I love it how Suzuki kept things the same, but different.

Not a problem at all. Yeah, I love being able to mix-n-match parts on these bikes. Very cool when you can find newer parts that swap right in. BTW, the GSXR1000 clutch parts will not work. The basket is bigger(which rules out fibers/steels) and the gear at the back of the basket has the wrong tooth count/pattern.
