No point in starting up a separate thread on every bike I work on, because I do everything at the same time. To get a bit up to speed with what I did after OSS went down, here's a recap. As usual I found myself without a running bike in the months leading up to TT week. It's been a yearly pilgrimage for Jelly and me to meet up with friends from all over the place and I've had many a problem with every bike I took forr the journey. My excuse was always that "someone else has built it". A true fact but there's only any point in it when I would prove I'd do it better myself.

The photo above is from 14-4-2013. A bare, good condition slabby 750 frame. Plan would be to build a 7/11 from parts that I already had AND make it work without a hitch. After one evening's work

Wheels in the picture are Astralites that came with the bike i used the frame of. Swingarm is a JMC item. Both would prove difficult to retain. Quick once over of the engine

Testfitting of the Exhaust-craft system. Had only been on one bike before and never run. Wasn't sure what to expect and it proved to be a bit of a job and a half to get it sorted.

Next job; wiring. Been on the hard shoulder more often than I care to remember due to a poorly made loom. If I'd do it myself, it would be another thing less to go wrong/ blame someone else if it did.

Working with a stock loom that would be modified to suit the bike, at least I know everything would be in the right place, technically. Next time it will be a full custom job with trick connectors.

Next job; get it running properly. Engine came out of a friends bike and was a proven strong motor, but I was going to use different carbs and ignition. First startup was disappointing to say the least.

Starting to look like a bike more by the minute. Decided at this point that the JMC isn't going to work. There's something amiss with the geometry, something to look into on a later date. It will get used at some point.

Nearing the end of May. It's on its feet and everything works. Final bit of welding to do on the exhaust, bit of paint and off we go.
