One thing with your breather arrangement - you have 3 or 4 10mm ID hoses into a tank that is vented with one outlet the same size as a std cam cover breather so its hardly changed from std.?

That thought had crossed my mind, there are 3 vent pipes. I suppose the tank itself allows for a bit of expansion, kept my eye on it best I could the other day when riding the bike and it does seem to work alright even when gunning it. Have heard that some drag racer boys use one way valves in there breather pipes to create supposedly negative crank case pressure any thoughts on this ?

Not sure about one way valves but the Pro Stockers do use vacuum pumps to evacuate the crankcases to create negative pressure but obviously only for 7 or 8 second bursts as it will increase ring blow by if used excessively! I used to have 2 dash 10 vents to a baffled catch can with 2 dash 10 outlets with K&N filters and another dash 8 to an open topped catch bottle and that worked well as well ...............but if it works for you - it works!

Been putting some miles on this since last update and having fun. But today my chain broke at about 90mph.

Was very lucky chain flew up in the air hit my back gently and landed on my seat then fell to the floor. Coasted to a stop no clutch as chain sheared clutch push rod arm and knackered the sprocket cover but only damaging a crankcase lug.

Had 2 m8s with me one picked the chain up for me, the chain pulled the scavenge pump pipe apart so there was oil all over the back end of the bike.

Lots of smoke from turbo exhaust am presuming this is because scavange pump was no longer working.

Left my bike at a nice persons house near where I came to a stop. My other m8 gave me a lift home, we got a van went back and picked the bike up. Pic of bike now as it sits in my front room again while I am thanking My lucky stars and having a can of beer.
