Cheers Ash, will get on with it this afternoon. As I get older I'm finding I'm get very finnicky when building anything. Even turning the numbers off the cap head bolts. I really do need to get out a bit more.

Had a look into the exhaust and fitting the end can. I just happened to have an old link pipe from a bandit and the end that fits into the can is perfect. I think it needs cutting down a little to bring the can nearer the rearsets. After reading birdoprey's thread on using a GSXR750 clutch on the bandit I thought I'd have a look on what there fetching on the internet sites. Got a complete one for a fiver. Can't moan at that so will fit it as I have to put a new gasket on anyway. Still waiting for the paintwork to come back but as I won't be running the bike this year it's not really an issue. Cheers for now.

I've bench tested the rear m/cylinder and it's not leaking any fluid so that's a bonus. Fitted it to the bike and it bled up really well up to a point. No more bubbles came out but there's a lot of lever travel before it feels like it's building pressure although it locks the back wheel okay. I could do with loosing the freeplay as I need little travel so the pedal doesn't interfere with the exhaust link pipe. Rather than using cable ties I decided to make a bracket to fasten the remote cylinder to the frame on. See ya soon.

Any chance you could knock up one of those remote cylinder clamps for me as well as a side stand?!
By the way, the build looks awesome!

Cheers ads54, I've got 5 blank bandit sidestands to finish off, one with your name on it. Does your bandit have short front forks or a jack-up kit as it will alter the length. The time I have in the brake cylinder would make it too expensive and you could get a brembo one cheaper. BUT, I can always be swayed. Still waiting on the bodywork but in no rush now. Progress will be slow over winter as I get busy at this time of year. Cheers for now.
