The list just keeps getting longer lol. With using the engine flush would that only be effective if I fill with some really cheap oil with the flush, run for a bit till up to temp, drain & fill with some decent silkolene as oil aint cheap when your wallet is empty

As I've no idea on the mixture settings is it worth getting the Morgan Colortune as it looks a handy kit or does anyone have the correct settings? As I may order it later

syringe and small hose, if the engine is still in the frame you can crank it with the starter motor

Syringe & hose is how I got it in there but I'm not sure it's enough to syringe out though?

You only put a couple of teaspoons worth of oil in - most is likely to have drained down past the rings by now! Any left should soon burn off - just expect a good cloud of blue smoke.

Got some engine flush for £6 which wont be here till Friday/sat anyhow I've been using Silkolene super4 10W40 semi synthetic but I'm considering maybe trying something else. There were loads of suggestion on the old site but I can't remember them. So what oil are you guys using in your slabbies' (no bandits they're too new) just 30 yr old engines.

Motul is quite a popular choice I see online. May give some a try then.
