thought id give a go at fitting the headers as been told headers need extending i had the drawings for the header extensions but before i took it in to get made i thought id try and see how far there of, its either im very lucky or ive fitted the engine different to the mount drawings and everyone else who has fitted a b12 motor into a kat, because my standard headers fitted no problem, only problem is the collector box slight touches front of sump but thats easily sorted.

ran into some problems with oil cooler 1st problem is its to long height wise so was touching headers and woulsnt clear side panels as to wide and im going with top feed cooler so couldnt fit oil pipes either. luckily my mate had a spare oil cooler for his turbo bike so we swapped mine was 162 wide his was 13" by 5" so way better fit.

waiting on my swingarm pivot bolt as its about and inch to short. so ive sent it of to get a new one matched up but made longer not sure how much this is going to cost me as its not my normal engineer doing it who charges me £25 per hour and thats including any materials used, this new bloke charges £25 per hour + material costs guessing im looking at £75/£100 for a friggin spindal lol

been slow past month with the project funds are tight at the moment. ordered a new front fairing and screen should be here next week decided that the subframe was to low and close to rear tyre had about 5" clearance but i wanted more. fitted 55mm jack up bones and now its perfect now have 8" clearance on tyre to subframe

decided that a top feed cooler wasnt going to work with limited height and space so ordered new adapters and changed it to a bottom feed cooler
